About Grim & Mild Presents

There are so many topics in history that deserve a bigger stage, and that’s why we created Grim & Mild Presents.

Each 13-episode season (published every other week, ongoing, for a non-stop storytelling experience) will dive into the strange, the unusual, and the fascinating corners of history. Think of it like a deep-dive documentary for your ears, always pushing into new and more fascinating stories from the past.

Season 3: Bedside Manners

From the blood in our veins to the search for eternal life, and everything in between, this is your chance to learn just how miraculous it is that we understand so much about the human body—and why many of those discoveries almost never happened.

This January, Grim & Mild Presents will begin a journey that will span thousands of years and countless borders, we plan to unpack the dark and twisted history…of healing medicine.

Prep for surgery! Bedside Manners premieres January 6th 2023.

Season 2: Pirates

Grim & Mild Presents continues its journey into the strange, the unusual, and the fascinating. For Season 2, we’ll be taking to the high seas, to explore one of history’s most notorious groups of criminals: pirates!

From naval battles and buried treasure, to deadly sword fights and barrels of rum, pirates represent a lot about the human spirit.

So prepare to raise anchor and hoist the sail! Pirates premieres July 8th 2022.

Season 1: Sideshow

SEASON 1 of Grim & Mild Presents will give listeners an intimate, back-stage tour through the always-complex and often-misunderstood cultural artifact that is the American sideshow.

Come along as we visit the shadowy corners of the traveling stage, and learn about the people who were at the center of it all. In a place where spectacle was king, we will soon discover that there is always more to the story than meets the eye.
